Job Description:
We're looking for a Sr. Finance Analyst who owns the accuracy of our revenue data from end to end. You'll keep NetSuite, Salesforce, and our billing systems in sync, spot problems before anyone asks, and fix them yourself. This role sits at the center of finance and operations. You'll support month-end and quarter-end close, feed budgeting and forecasting with clean numbers, and help build reporting the business can trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, reconcile, and maintain revenue and customer data across NetSuite, Salesforce, and billing systems.
- Identify inconsistencies in data and take the initiative to correct them, including manual fixes where needed.
- Working with Sales, Billing and customers to issue credits or corrections. Following up on overdue invoices, maintaining the AR aging and escalating high-risk accounts.
- Analyze financial statements and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close with accurate, timely revenue data and reconciliations.
- Maintaining the deferred revenue schedule and tying it to the general ledger.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, covering deferred revenue, unbilled revenue and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, Billing, FP&A, and other teams to improve financial and operational reporting.
- Assist with process improvements and data integrity audits, documenting fixes so issues don't recur.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite (must-have).
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts, including financial statements and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with deferred revenue, unbilled revenue and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations) and comfort working with large data sets.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over the numbers.
- Proactive, assertive, and self-driven: you don't wait to be told what's wrong.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA preferred.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salesforce and billing systems (a big plus).
- Familiarity with revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
What Success looks like in this Role:
- NetSuite, Salesforce, and billing data reconcile cleanly, with discrepancies caught and resolved before close.
- Month-end and quarter-end revenue numbers are delivered on time and hold up to review.
- Recurring data issues are traced to their root cause and fixed through better processes, not just patched.
